The under 13’s had some tight games against the Darling Dingoes and the Moreton Magic but unfortunately they couldn’t finish off some good starts.
The under 14’s battled hard and were right in their contests against the Darling Dingoes and the Moreton Magic but couldn’t quite get enough runs.
The under 15’s had a memorable win against the Moreton Magic with Jack Mercer the hero with 66 runs off just 30 balls. Mercer belted 8 sixes as the Pirates scored 9/146. Then Hayden Dalmazzo, Joey Laner, Angus McNamara and Samil Hemani all got two wickets as they bundled out the Magic for 107.
The under 23 Women had a few late changes to the team but were fully committed to the Pirate cause when they battled for the BPL out at Wynnum.
The girls had a young side and will learn from the experience but they clearly had a great time representing the mighty Pirates!
